Paying online with your credit card – here’s how it works

Making a payment online is only a question of filling in a few details.

Your credit card number. This is the 16-digit number on the front of your card.
The expiry date of your card, first the month, then the year.
The three-digit number on the back of your card. If you have Visa, this is called CVV code. The Mastercard has a CVC code.
And an extra check (3D Secure). You can generate this with the ICS App for ABN AMRO creditcards by approving a task ('opdracht goedkeuren'). If you don't have the app. You have to enter a password and SMS code.

If you make an online payment, you are regularly asked to approve the task (payment). You can do this with the app. If you don't have the ICS App for ABN AMRO creditcards. Still keep your mobile phone close, you will receive a code by SMS. You will have to enter the code, to complete your payment.
